Job summary

Join our dynamic client service team responsible for initiating security screening requirements, where you will learn the importance of security screening and be trained to conduct initial screening requirements and external verifications that are used to assess eligibility to hold the requisite clearance needed to work at CSE.

As a member of the Personnel Security Screening team, you will collect candidate and employee information for the purposes of initiating security screening of new applicants to CSE, conducting security updates of CSE employees and be responsible for a variety of other internal security actions.  

This is a client focused team requiring good communication skills, teamwork, agility, adaptability, attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight timelines.

Area of selection

Open to Canadian citizens who reside in the National Capital Region.

Location

Ottawa, Ontario.  All jobs require full-time onsite, five days per week, presence in one of our two accessible facilities

Conditions of employment

A valid Enhanced Top Secret (ETS) security clearance is a condition of employment that must be met before an offer can be made.

Essential qualifications

In order to be considered, your cover letter must clearly explain how you meet the following education and experience requirements.

Education

  • You must have a high school diploma.

 

Note: The educational program must be recognized in Canada, and you must be able to provide proof of education credentials.

Experience

  • Client facing services including the provision of advice and guidance on policies, processes, procedures, troubleshooting issues and proposing solutions.
  • Initiating and processing requests for administrative services
  • Experience working on a team towards a common objective
  • Experience consulting with clients, and other stakeholders to obtain information and confirm requirements.
  • Experience conducting preliminary review and analysis of issues, recommending options and plans for the provision of specific services.
